How about we start talking about the more interesting things in this article. Last month Nasa and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) landed the heaviest, but most intelligent and technologically developed payload, ever to touch the Martian surface. I am of course referring to the 2020 Perseverance rover. It carries seven primary payload instruments, 19 cameras, and two microphones. The rover is also carrying the mini-helicopter Ingenuity, an experimental aircraft that will attempt the first ever powered flight on another planet.

SpaceX did it again: SpaceX's latest Starship prototype went out in a blaze of glory.
The Starship SN10 spacecraft touched down successfully after a high-altitude test flight in March 3, a major milestone for the company and its crewed Mars ambitions. But the vehicle didn't manage to hold itself together, exploding about eight minutes after landing.
The big stainless-steel SN10 launched from SpaceX's South Texas site, rose 10 kilometers into the sky and came back safely to Earth for a smooth touchdown after 6 minutes and 20 seconds from liftoff.

Space (What is space according to many scientific sources: Space is the boundless three-dimensional extent in which objects and events have relative position and direction.) facts that probably you didn’t know:
-
Space is completely silent (due to the vacuum-no air).
-
99% of our solar system's mass is the sun.
-
More energy from the sun hits Earth every hour than the planet uses in a year.
-
One day on Venus is longer than one year on Earth and 10 days longer than 1 year on Venus.
-
The universe is constantly expanding.
-
A competed NASA space suit costs $12,000,000.
-
There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on earth.

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!
For those who do not know me, my name is Zoe and I come here every week and share some interesting information about my topic “music & arts”
Last time we met, I provided, you guys, with some info about how music and arts can be therapeutic and be something really significant in our lives and then I proceeded to talk to you about art, and specifically Painting. So, if you haven’t checked it out yet, please go ahead and do not hesitate to leave a comment with your impressions and recommendations.
As I said last time, in each blog I will be talking about different genres of music and kinds of art, and since we talked about arts last time, Today’s music day! As I always do, I will start by giving you a reason why we are in need of music and arts in our lives, suggest some activities to do in your free time. And in quarantine or not, I thought of giving you a motivational/humorous phrase to help you get going. So, let us start!
As I mentioned last time, music and arts can help people with mental illnesses and disorders. I would like to focus on the psychological aid that music can provide to people. Mental illnesses scare people, because they don’t what is going to happen to them, music comes and fixes that. As it helps them escape from the rough reality and enter a world where it’s only them and music. Matter of fact it has been proven, to reduce depression, but at a small level. The type of music and its rhythm can have a big impact on how the patient will relax, and also on his/her mood. Furthermore, it can reduce pain! It has been shown, that listening to music, for example before a surgery, except the fact that it can help reduce anxiety, it can also result to better outcomes.
Today I thought it was a good idea to talk about a really joyful, but also romantic genre of music, Latin, and especially Samba!
Samba is a Brazilian music genre, which was first found in the Afro-Brazilian community in Rio de Janeiro. It is actually considered as one of the country’s symbols and its most important phenomena. It began in the 1910’s and on 1917 the first song had been launched, "Pelo Telefone". It is characterised by its basic and simple movements and basically by its rocking moves. It is also seen that the partners separate and dance solo a small part of the song. Some of its instruments are the Surdo, the Pandeiro, the Ganza, the Cuica etc... some well-known artists form this particular music genre are, Clara Nunes, Cartola, Paulinho Da Viola, Adoniran Barbosa etc…
Activities do not necessarily have to be active, all that can be done is meditate. Put on the music that pleases you, makes you happy, relaxes you, lay down and start imagining! Try to induce your calm state, relieve the pain and the anxiety and start improving your emotional state. Try it, and see what happens! I’m sure that it can be very therapeutic.
Now for the humorous phrase I promised, “I’m sure the universe is full of intelligent life. It’s just been too intelligent to come here.” - Arthur C. Clarke
I hope you guys likes today’s blog and found it interesting enough… if yes please stay tuned for the next one. Until then, stay healthy!
