How about we start talking about the more interesting things in this article. Last month Nasa and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) landed the heaviest, but most intelligent and technologically developed payload, ever to touch the Martian surface. I am of course referring to the 2020 Perseverance rover. It carries seven primary payload instruments, 19 cameras, and two microphones. The rover is also carrying the mini-helicopter Ingenuity, an experimental aircraft that will attempt the first ever powered flight on another planet.

SpaceX did it again: SpaceX's latest Starship prototype went out in a blaze of glory.
The Starship SN10 spacecraft touched down successfully after a high-altitude test flight in March 3, a major milestone for the company and its crewed Mars ambitions. But the vehicle didn't manage to hold itself together, exploding about eight minutes after landing.
The big stainless-steel SN10 launched from SpaceX's South Texas site, rose 10 kilometers into the sky and came back safely to Earth for a smooth touchdown after 6 minutes and 20 seconds from liftoff.

Space (What is space according to many scientific sources: Space is the boundless three-dimensional extent in which objects and events have relative position and direction.) facts that probably you didn’t know:
-
Space is completely silent (due to the vacuum-no air).
-
99% of our solar system's mass is the sun.
-
More energy from the sun hits Earth every hour than the planet uses in a year.
-
One day on Venus is longer than one year on Earth and 10 days longer than 1 year on Venus.
-
The universe is constantly expanding.
-
A competed NASA space suit costs $12,000,000.
-
There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on earth.
THE END!!!

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!
For those who do not know me, my name is Zoe and I come here every week and share some interesting information about my topic “music & arts”.
Last time we met, I provided, you guys, with some info about how music and arts can be therapeutic and be something really significant in our lives and then I proceeded to talk to you about music, and specifically Disco. So, if you haven’t checked it out yet, please go ahead and do not hesitate to leave a comment with your impressions and recommendations.
As I said last time, in each blog I will be talking about different genres of music and kinds of art, and since we talked about music last time, Today’s art day! As I always do, I will start by giving you a reason why we are in need of music and arts in our lives, suggest some activities to do in your free time. And in quarantine or not, I thought of giving you a motivational/humorous phrase to help you get going. So, let us start!
Both music and arts, can help on developing skills that are “untestable”, such as observing, or envisioning, or even innovating through exploration. Although, they are non-testable, these particular skills have the same importance like all other ones. For example, observing and being very concentrated onto something (a project), will help on digging deeper, looking closely and at the end improving by making the necessary adjustments to it. Also, interestingly enough, art and music therapy, has been an effective method on managing any kind of disorders. Or even managing anxiety, depression, problems with self-expression. How they do it? Very simply, by listening to music, dancing, painting, sculpting…
So today, I thought that, it was a good idea to talk about the most common type of art today, graphic arts!
Basically, graphic arts are a type of art that is expressed on a flat surface, so that means that we are going to talk about painting!

Essentially, painting is a form of expression. Someone expresses his feelings, his thought, his beliefs, within a flat surface, using shapes, lines, colours and textures, and the final result could be a representation of his own world, or just of something realistic or supernatural. The fun part of painting is that the shapes drawn, give a fun movement and rhythm to the particular piece of art. Matter of fact, art had a ritual, educational or entertaining importance. I think that almost everyone knows some of the most famous, well known painters, but I’m going to take the chance and mention them once more. Claud Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Leonardo Da Vinci…
What is an activity you can do, to spend time productively? An interesting idea, is to create a collage by tearing the pages of a magazine that look appealing, cut in random shapes and stick it in a notebook. Stick flowers, stick anything that looks good, and make something that is aesthetically pleasing to your eyes!
And now for the humorous quote I promised, “Please kindly go away, I’m introverting.” — Beth Buelow.
I hope you guys likes today’s blog and found it interesting enough… if yes please stay tuned for the next one. Until then, stay healthy!
