How about we start talking about the more interesting things in this article. Last month Nasa and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) landed the heaviest, but most intelligent and technologically developed payload, ever to touch the Martian surface. I am of course referring to the 2020 Perseverance rover. It carries seven primary payload instruments, 19 cameras, and two microphones. The rover is also carrying the mini-helicopter Ingenuity, an experimental aircraft that will attempt the first ever powered flight on another planet.

SpaceX did it again: SpaceX's latest Starship prototype went out in a blaze of glory.
The Starship SN10 spacecraft touched down successfully after a high-altitude test flight in March 3, a major milestone for the company and its crewed Mars ambitions. But the vehicle didn't manage to hold itself together, exploding about eight minutes after landing.
The big stainless-steel SN10 launched from SpaceX's South Texas site, rose 10 kilometers into the sky and came back safely to Earth for a smooth touchdown after 6 minutes and 20 seconds from liftoff.

Space (What is space according to many scientific sources: Space is the boundless three-dimensional extent in which objects and events have relative position and direction.) facts that probably you didn’t know:
-
Space is completely silent (due to the vacuum-no air).
-
99% of our solar system's mass is the sun.
-
More energy from the sun hits Earth every hour than the planet uses in a year.
-
One day on Venus is longer than one year on Earth and 10 days longer than 1 year on Venus.
-
The universe is constantly expanding.
-
A competed NASA space suit costs $12,000,000.
-
There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on earth.

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!
For those who do not know me, my name is Zoe and I come here every week and share some interesting information about my topic “music & arts”.
Last time we met, I provided, you guys, with some info about how music and arts can be therapeutic and be something really significant in our lives and then I proceeded to talk to you about art, and specifically roman sculpture. So, if you haven’t checked it out yet, please go ahead and do not hesitate to leave a comment with your impressions and recommendations.
As I said last time, in each blog I will be talking about different genres of music and kinds of art, and since we talked about art last time, Today’s music day! As I always do, I will start by giving you a reason why we are in need of music and arts in our lives, suggest some activities to do in your free time. And in quarantine or not, I thought of giving you a motivational/humorous phrase to help you get going. So, let’s start!
First of all, one benefit of arts and music, is that it can help to enhance our social skills or even self-esteem, confidence. Lots of people that are introverts, with the help and the influence of music, they found the power, the courage and the will to become more social. More outgoing and not afraid to talk and cooperate with people that might be unknown to them. And matter of fact, if we think about it, that is a very big and significant step in life… They manage to step out of their shell, and look brighter, relaxed, ready to get to know the world. Moreover, not only do we develop and become more social but most importantly we develop multiple skills such as teamwork and discipline. And generally, as most of you have understood by now, both music and arts, can help us a lot throughout our lives.
Today, I thought that it was a good idea to talk about a genre in music, Pop and specifically, Disco!
Disco, is a genre that emerged in the 70’s (1970) in the United States’ nightlife scene. It contains instruments, like electric rhythm guitar, electric piano, horns, four-on-the-flour beats etc…if we ask someone, what would he/she associate disco with? they would most likely associate it with dancing, discotheques, nightclubs, funky and colourful clothes. Which is correct, that consists of the club culture and mostly the atmosphere in the nightclub. Some very significant artists of this genre of music, were Gloria Gaynor, the Bee Gees, the Village People, and Michael Jackson.
So, since we are talking about music, I’m going to recommend some fun activities to do at home, at your free time. Have you ever thought of having your own song, your own albums? Well, this is your time to shine, give it a try and start brainstorming about possible lyrics for your own song. Use your imagination and I’m sure that you will make it!
This quote is specifically for quarantine, I hope you like it “People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day." — A.A. Milne
I hope you guys likes today’s blog and found it interesting enough… if yes please stay tuned for the next one. Until then, stay healthy!
